The series "Still Not Here" reflects a state of in-betweenness — not a lack of presence in the moment, but a sense of being never fully rooted, either physically or mentally, in the environment at hand. The photographs approach the world from the position of an outside observer, with a distance that sharpens perception.
The work unfolds primarily through pairs of images. Each pair creates a dialogue: themes, forms, or moods resonate across the frames, generating new layers of meaning in their relation to one another. While the single images are associative and open-ended, their pairing produces unexpected connections, inviting viewers to engage in a process of interpretation.
The complete series consists of 168 photographs. Its first half is in black and white, the second in color — a structure that, not coincidentally, reflects the ratio of the golden section. This subtle balance underscores the rhythm of the work, reinforcing its quiet tension between absence and presence, detachment and immersion.
A specially curated playlist accompanies the series, offering a musical backdrop that enhances the experience of viewing the images.
