Gábor László Kőrös is a Budapest-based documentary photographer and photojournalist. His personal work focuses on faith, tradition, and identity — exploring how these forces continue to offer orientation in a rapidly changing world, through stories found in rural communities, on pilgrimage routes, and at the edges of everyday life.
He contributes to 24.hu, Hungary's leading independent news portal, and has worked as a freelance photojournalist for Népszava. His work has been published in Magyar Hang and selected by The Raw Society.
His photography education includes a VII Foundation Workshop in Sarajevo and the VII Foundation Level 1 Documentary Photography course. He also holds professional qualifications in art and media photography and photojournalism (MÚOSZ). His photographs have been recognised in the Pictures of the Year Hungary publication and in his first solo exhibition at Kerekdomb Festival, Tállya.
Before becoming a professional photographer, he spent more than fifteen years in capital markets and M&A — as a derivatives trader in London, and in project management roles at start-ups and multinational companies in Hungary and in Luxembourg. He holds a CFA charter and an MBA from Bayes Business School (London). He also works as a personal leadership coach.
