The Camino del Norte had been in my plans since my very first pilgrimage, and in the spring of 2024 I finally set out from Irún. After thirty-seven days of walking I reached Santiago, then continued on foot to Finisterre and ultimately Muxía, completing my longest journey yet — nearly 1,000 kilometers.

Tracing the rugged northern coastline of Spain, this path revealed landscapes of breathtaking beauty and constant change. Of all my Caminos so far, the Norte remains my favorite in terms of its natural richness: a pilgrimage where the rhythm of the sea, the mountains, and the endless horizon shaped each step and gave the walk its unique character.
